Political Action Committee Fund

Our Political Action Committee (PAC Fund) has been organized to donate campaign funds to elected individuals that support our cause. It has been registered with the state ethics commission. Our goal is to protect SC Bail industry and make it a professional recognizable profession.

The SCBAA Board of Directors approves all PAC Fund contributions. The PAC Fund has a Chairman, Treasurer and other volunteers that work hard to solicit funds for the PAC.

We have currently 124 state representatives and 46 state senators in South Carolina that write and pass laws. We need your help to maintain our fund. Please consider contributing to the PAC Fund by clicking here.

SC Law prohibits any contribution larger than $3500 per election cycle to PAC Funds. PAC Funds are limited to $1000 contribution to local candidates (state senators, representatives, etc.) and $3500 to statewide candidates. Individuals may not contribute more than $25 cash. Larger amounts must be paid by check, credit card or certified check.

PAC Fund contributions are not tax deductable.

Lobbyist Fund

We have contracted a top lobbyist firm in South Carolina. Our lobbyist is registered with the SC Ethics Commission. The lobbyist fund will help pay our lobbyist for their service in looking out for bad laws and pushing the ones that we consider great for our industry in SC.

Please consider donating to our lobbyist fund by clicking here.

Thank you to all donors to our Pre trial Legislative and PAC Funds.  If your name is not on the list and you have donated, please contact vice president Ricky Hill.  To see the list, click 2009-2010 Legislative Donor List.
